Our beer selection principally focuses on artisan brewers with a long history of tradition behind them. From classic blonde beers that are mostly German to the fuller bodied such as those from Belgium, each have behind them a philosophy of process and preparation that spans across decades or even centuries. As well as blonde and red beers, you will find fresh spiced white beers or ales that are a bit more bitter but simultaneously fruity and, lastly, IPA beers that are processed to have a stronger, well-marked bitter taste. Belgium, without doubt, is the godfather in that it boasts an ancient tradition; from the cultivation of grain, the choice of yeast and finally due to its water – each of which is assessed with precision and care to provide an intrinsic product with a passion and a history. There is no shortage of Italian beers of note, including a gluten-free beer.  We always have our eye on our region’s beers, following step-by-step the evolution of brewers who continually conserve the value of raw materials and the authenticity that characterises them, just like La Merceria, in so doing what’s on offer can be upgraded.
